SCOTUS to Hear Lawsuit Threatening Medication Abortion Access
This week, the United States Supreme Court announced they will hear arguments this term in U.S. Food and Drug Administration v. Alliance for Hippocratic Medicine, a case about the FDA’s approval of the abortion medication Mifepristone. The ruling in this case could significantly restrict access to abortion care nationwide, including in Minnesota.
Next Week – Appeals Court Hearing on Pharmacist’s Denial of Emergency Contraception
In August of 2022, an Aitkin County Jury found that a Minnesota pharmacy did not discriminate when they refused to fill an emergency contraception prescription for our client, Andrea Anderson. Our legal team worked hard to appeal the decision to ensure Minnesota patients can safely access the healthcare they need.

North Dakota Abortion Ban Hearing for Preliminary Injunction
Next week, on December 20th, oral arguments will take place in our case with The Center for Reproductive Rights and Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP for a preliminary injunction on North Dakota’s Abortion Ban.
