Election day is on November 7!
Across the country, we have seen hundreds of policies at the city and school board level that have sought to rewrite history, target LGBTQ+ students and families, control what libraries can have on their shelves, and more.
Gender Justice and our community partners came together last month to shed light on what’s at stake in Minnesota school board elections this year. You can read more about it on Kare 11 and MPR. Minnesota Reformer also covered this issue on October 30.
On Tuesday, November 7, it is vital we show up to the polls and make it clear that Minnesotans stand against these attacks on our rights.
Make sure to know who is going to be on your ballot before you vote!
Once you’ve found your ballot, create your plan for voting. You can find everything you need to know, from voter registration information to your polling location on the Minnesota Secretary of State’s Website.
If you are able to vote, make sure to mark your calendars for Tuesday, November 7 and do your part in protecting the rights and dignity of all Minnesotans.
